Oustanding Body Track

Parkinson’s Disease is a condition that affects the neurological system. Sometimes, a person is afflicted with not only Parkinson’s Disease but other medication conditions at the same time. The Outstanding Body track is for patients that have multiple health conditions. It will help improve the health of the whole body and not just the neurological system.

Analogy of The Army

I often use an analogy with patients so they can better understand the reason keeping the whole body healthy can positively influence the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. I say your immune system is like an army of soldiers and you only have 100 soldiers. These soldiers are responsible for keeping the body in good repair and healthy. However, if you have multiple medical conditions, then each condition is going to require some attention from the soldiers. Let’s say, for example, you have Parkinson’s Disease, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. In this instance, your immune system is doing the best it can to keep all medical conditions in check. If you have Parkinson’s Disease, you would want all 100 soldiers of the immune system handling Parkinson’s Disease. However, when you have the other conditions mentioned, some of the soldiers are handling Diabetes, some are handling Hypothyroidism, and some are handling Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Now instead of 100 soldiers handling Parkinson’s Disease, you have fewer soldiers available to handle Parkinson’s. In this instance, you want to help the body improve the other conditions so that you can allocate more soldiers to Parkinson’s Disease. Doing this can improve the neurological symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.

Outstanding Body Track Frequently Asked Questions

What is your success rate?

This is an excellent question. I always answer this with two follow-up questions. What is your
definition of success? AND Are you willing to put in lots of effort? If you are looking to make
deeper and longer-lasting changes to your health, then we would love to help you achieve this.
Success to us means improvements in symptoms and improvements in overall health.

Will I have to do any lab or blood tests?

Yes, you will likely be asked to do bloodwork and/or specialty lab testing. This is to help us
understand the underlying contributions to your medical conditions. The results will help us to
tailor a plan specific to your medical needs.

Will I have to change my diet?

The standard American diet often contributed to overall inflammation and disease in the body.
We will help you make dietary changes that are more conducive to a healthy body and brain.

How long will it take to see improvements in how I feel?

The length of time it takes to see improvements will vary from person to person. There is no
definite timeline of how long it can take. With that said, most people will see some
improvements within 3 months of consistent effort.

Is it possible that I can reduce my Parkinson’s medications?

It is possible to reduce medications. However, the safety of altering any medications always has
to be evaluated by your provider.

Do you take insurance?

We do not have any contracts with insurance companies. Therefore you will pay out of pocket
for medical care at The Parkinson’s Plan. However, we can provide you with documentation that
you need to submit to insurance yourself. If your insurance provider does cover Naturopathic
Medicine, you will receive the reimbursement directly.

If I improve other medical conditions aside from Parkinson’s, will my Parkinson’s symptoms still improve?

When you improve the health of the overall body, Parkinson’s symptoms can improve.

How often will we have to meet?

This depends on how much support you need. Meetings will typically occur more frequently in the beginning. We offer different plans for our Outstanding Body Track. The super awesome plan
offers the most patient support.
